These guidelines help maintain a positive, respectful environment for all Gent-Chat users. By using our platform, you agree to follow these standards.
Be Respectful
Treat all users with kindness and respect. Harassment, bullying, discrimination, or hate speech based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability is strictly prohibited.
No Inappropriate Content
Do not share content of a sexual nature, graphic violence, or otherwise disturbing content. Keep conversations friendly and appropriate for a general audience.
Respect Privacy
Never share other people's personal information without consent (doxxing). This includes addresses, phone numbers, emails, or private conversations. Respect others' boundaries and privacy preferences.
No Spam or Promotion
Avoid excessive self-promotion, advertising, or sending unsolicited messages. Commercial activities require prior approval. Do not spam users with repetitive messages or requests.
Be Authentic
Use your real identity and don't impersonate others. Catfishing, creating fake profiles, or misrepresenting yourself violates our terms and undermines trust in the community.
No Illegal Activities
Do not use Gent-Chat for illegal purposes including but not limited to fraud, scams, blackmail, or distributing illegal content. All illegal activities will be reported to appropriate authorities.
Consent is Essential
Respect others' boundaries and comfort levels. If someone asks you to stop a particular topic or behavior, cease immediately. Never pressure others into sharing personal information or meeting in person.
Maintain Account Security
Keep your login credentials secure and don't share your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password immediately and contact support.
Report Violations
Help us maintain a safe community by reporting users or content that violates these guidelines. Our moderation team reviews all reports and takes appropriate action. Don't hesitate to report—you're protecting others.
Consequences of Violations
Violations of community guidelines may result in:
- Warning: First-time minor violations receive a warning and reminder of guidelines.
- Temporary Suspension: Repeated or moderate violations result in temporary account suspension (7-30 days).
- Permanent Ban: Severe violations or repeated offenses lead to permanent account termination.
- Legal Action: Illegal activities will be reported to law enforcement.
Our moderation team reviews each case individually and considers context and severity.
